EVENT DATE: MARCH 24, 2017

Surfrider Pacific Rim & Pacific Rim Whale Festival bring you a film event for all ages not to be missed.

Doors open 4.30pm.
Entry, snacks and refreshments all by donation.

A Plastic Ocean is a new documentary that brings to light consequences of a disposable lifestyle. We thought we could use plastic once and throw it away with negligible impact to humans and animals….what do you think?

Filmed in 20 locations around the world in beautiful and chilling detail to document the global effects of plastic pollution–and introduces positive solutions we can all be part of.

Stay for a juicy panel discussion, and Q&A afterwards from 7pm!
Join Surfrider in celebrating the BYOB challenge!
Prizes and giveaways!

(Parental discretion may be required for film screening. Short scene of a bird being cut open may be upsetting for younger kids, (hands over eyes work too!) but is important for us all to know)

If you are interested in sponsoring this event, or donating to the giveaways and refreshments, please get in touch with Michelle chair@pacificrim.surfrider.org. Thank you to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #65 for sponsoring us providing a great space!
