Become a member of Surfrider Canada
Together, we protect waterways.
Members are monthly givers to Surfrider Foundation Canada. Members form our activist network, protecting coastlines from harm and yielding influence at the local, provincial and national level for regulatory and policy change.
You can depend on Surfrider Foundation Canada to use your membership to develop Made-in-Canada solutions for clean water, plastic reduction, ocean protection, coastal preservation, and beach access.

Planned Giving helps you meet your personal, financial and estate planning goals by making a lifetime or testamentary charitable gift. By giving a gift from your estate, you will also lower your estate taxes. You get to choose the amount you’d like to contribute to Surfrider Pacific Rim, which you can always alter. All that’s required is a statement about your intention using our legal name “Surfrider Foundation Pacific Rim Chapter” plus the charity number (contact us for this.)
You can name a specific dollar amount or a piece of property, such as a home or securities.
Suggested wording:
I donate to Surfrider Foundation Pacific Rim Chapter, charitable number (please contact us for this) the sum of $_______.
Or, you can leave a residual gift to us — a percentage of what’s left of your estate after you ensure loved ones are looked after. This protects your intent while recalibrating to inflation or any other change.
